Brake, transmission, exhaust and glass work is often done by specialty shops that see the same job dozens of times a week. Brake shops replace pads and rotors the same day and usually inspect for free; transmission shops rebuild or replace automatics and clutches, a multi-day job that deserves a second quote; muffler and exhaust shops weld custom pipes and replace catalytic converters, which in many states must meet emissions rules. Alignment and suspension shops fix pulling, uneven tire wear and worn shocks, and radiator shops handle overheating and cooling-system leaks. Auto glass shops replace windshields, often at your home or office, and recalibrate the driver-assistance cameras mounted behind the glass. Window tinting and car audio shops round out the group.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ7 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (415) 771-2039. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Iβm updating my review after a very negative recent experience. I contacted the shop to reschedule an appointment after they were closed on the day I was supposed to drop off my car. During this call, I was spoken to in an aggressive and inappropriate manner, without any justification. Iβve been a customer for over 1.5 years and had no issues in the past. Unfortunately, the person currently handling customer calls was hostile and dismissive, and simple questions were met with anger rather than help. I previously worked with Taylor King, who was excellent and very professional. Itβs disappointing to leave this update, but the customer service I experienced was unacceptable. ----------------- Previous review: Just want everyone to know that they charge a flat rate of $180 for any work. They installed a radio unit that I bought and it stopped working 1 year later. Brought it back to them. It was a cable that got disconnected. They worked on it for like 20 minutes. Got charged $180. I appreciate the honesty though. They didnβt lie about how easy it was to fix it. Still feels a little racketed.

This business is very unprofessional. The representative actually told me to relax, calm down. I was very specific regarding my need to replace a car radio. I did hang up on him because he was so disrespectful. I called back today and the hostility and disrespect continued. I did hang up on him again. I am a 67 year old woman and will not abide this behavior. Take your business elsewhere.

Nick and Taylor have been working on my family's vehicles for over a decade now - our cars, through time, have ranged from American makes (Tesla), Japanese makes (Lexus, Toyota, Acura), and German makes (Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW). Every project, whether big (e.g. wiring in a bluetooth/iPhone kit to a 2006 Porsche) or small (e.g. hardwiring my radar detector on a brand new 2021 Supra) they take on with no hesitation. And we are always beyond happy with the quality of the work done. For example, on the bluetooth/iPhone kit (Dension unit) done on our '06 Cayenne they were able to have my original OEM headunit work with steering wheels controls kept! For my radar detector (Uniden R7), they found a super discrete mirror mount and a great place to mount the external mute/function box! The best part is that they walk you through what they plan to do so that you can provide feedback before anything is done - I personally have loved that because they also let me know why some of my initial thoughts may not be best for my intended use. Service with these guys is top notch and it's not surprise why you'll always bump into their regulars when you're there for even just an hour!
